A veritable culinary encyclopedia, with a very extensive address book, an insatiable curiosity, as comfortable in a market sitting on a small stool as in front of a gourmet dish, Stéphane Davet plunged with delight, greed and respect into the heritage Cambodian cuisine.
Between two lunches and dinners at the best tables in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, the journalist met many specialists in gastronomy and local products, including Dr. Hay Ly Eang who revealed to him all the secrets of Kampot pepper .
